Terms and Conditions

As bespoke pieces are made to order we do require a 50% deposit when a design is agreed upon. This is non-refundable, the remaining balance is then required on completion of the piece.

As pieces are handmade we guarantee our work for one year, but this does not cover wear and tear.

We are happy to offer checks on your pieces to ensure they are kept at their best.

Our preferred methods of payment are BACS transfer, PayPal and cash.

Our work is sent out using Royal Mail Next Day Special delivery which is insured, if you would rather collect your piece in person Jane is happy to meet with you at her Glasgow Studio.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer returns on items sold, but we want you to be happy with your purchase so please do get in touch with us directly and we will do our best to make that happen.

We know that you some like to wear their jewellery all the time, but we advise that you avoid wearing it when using detergents, perfumes or chemicals. You should also avoid wearing them when doing any strenuous work such as gardening, working in the gym and working with your hands. As this can easily damage your jewellery.

The finishes that are put on our pieces are all temporary and will wear and come off over time, we are happy to refinish work - Price on Application.

You should also be aware that when buying white gold pieces- normally they are given a rhodium plating which gives it its bright white finish- white gold is naturally yellow in colour so if you notice your ring is becoming more yellow it is normally a sign that it requires another rhodium plate- this is quite normal and we recommend  this should be done every 6-12 months dependant on wear.

We hope that you never need to bring any of our pieces back because they are broken but if you do and we are happy that it is not due to wear and tear then we shall repair it for you. If however the piece has been damaged since you have bought it we are happy to repair it for you again price on application. We also offer a repair service on jewellery that we have not made- jewellery is like a car and requires an MOT every few years as claws, settings and shanks can wear and become thin over the years. If you want to have your pieces looking like new again you can visit our Glasgow studio for some advice.
